Project overview

This project is based on feedback raised by local shires on behalf of their communities. It is the very definition of a ‘lightbulb moment’, a great idea with significant flow on benefits. Replacing streetlight poles and installing smart LED streetlights in Halls Creek, Kununurra, Warmun and Wyndham will improve visibility and safety, reduce energy bills and maintenance costs, and lower greenhouse gas emissions.

    1400+ smart LED lights

    More than 1400 energy-efficient lights have been rolled out across Halls Creek, Kununurra, Lake Argyle, Warmun and Wyndham, reducing the Shires’ electricity costs and the region’s greenhouse gas emissions.
